Menard Oceania is a design and construct specialist geotechnical contractor offering expertise in ground improvement and reinforcement for sites with poor soils. We are looking for a Project Manager for our Southern Region, (Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia). The PM will work closely with the Regional Manager overseeing, manage mobilisation & set-up of construction site, manpower scheduling, plant and equipment scheduling to ensure the safe and successful delivery of the region's geotechnical projects.


Indicative Skill Level:


Your technical and operational experience within the geotechnical engineering field over the past 10-15 years is critical to the success of this role. It will be preferred that you have wide experience across several geotechnical techniques, which includes but are not limited to lateral support, soil mixing, grouting, CFA, dynamic compaction.


Your managerial and consultative leadership style with teams between 10 to 20 people will be important to the success of your role as PM at Menard.


Important to this role is your proven ability to form constructive partnerships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders while executing the commercial and administrative side of projects.


Your knowledge, attitude and proven delivery of high quality and safety standards within the construction industry is of utmost value.


Tasks Include but are not limited to the below:



  • working with our national operations team in coordination and resourcing of the southern region's projects

  • working closely with the regional design team in assessing and interpreting ground improvement drawings and specifications

  • coordinating resources, procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment

  • managing links between projects and monitoring overall time, costs, quality, budget and risk

  • negotiating with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle

  • together with the Regional Manager, QSE Manager, HR Manager, managing and monitoring adherence to legislation and standards of performance and safety


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
