    The Opportunity


    We are looking for Fixed Plant Lubricator to provide plant assets with the correct lubrication products and applications with measurable and sustainable results. This residential role is a great opportunity to be part of the Cape Lambert Maintenance Team and be responsible for the execution of lubrication practices.


    You will be working in a small, close-knit team where safety, teamwork, quality improvement and a keen eye for detail are key to achieving success.


    Working a residential roster 4 days, 4 off, 4 days, 2 off and reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you will be required to:



    • Drive and promote a strong safety culture and zero harm approach

    • Complete scheduled lubrication tasks, which will include, grease lubrication of pulleys and electric motors, lubrication change outs on reduction gear boxes and hydraulic systems, replacement of single point lubricators and oil sampling for elemental analysis

    • Report on problems with plant, equipment practices and procedures

    • Conduct lubrication improvement works as specified by Maintenance Supervisor

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive reliability best practice


    About you

    To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:



    • Manual C Class Drivers Licence

    • Strong Mechanical aptitude

    • Level 1 Lubrication Technician (desirable)

    • Demonstrated experience as an Online Lubricator or Serviceperson on a range of mobile and fixed plant mining equipment

    Where you will be working

    Our four independent shipping terminals at two locations, Cape Lambert and Dampier, are managed as a single port system. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, product stockpiling and blending, and ship loading. Employees reside in Wickham which is located 1,572 km north of Perth and 13 km north of Roebourne in the Pilbara region of Western Australia with Karratha being the closest town. Wickham is a fascinating historic town boasting pristine sandy beaches and excellent fishing spots.
